We're Hippolyte and Eolia, two graduate students from France (a male and a female, both 21), currently taking a gap year and doing a road trip in New Zealand with our Working Holiday Visas for approximately six months. We’re eager to fully immerse ourselves in New Zealand’s culture, and looking for accommodation through Wellington Homestay. We’ve already spent a full month in Auckland back in December thanks to Auckland Homestay so why not use the Wellington version as well!
We’ve both recently graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in English LLCER (Literature, Civilisation, Linguistics, Phonetics, Translation, and Didactics), and we aim to continue in the same field when we return to France in 2026 to pursue our Master’s degrees.
I personally love playing the guitar, writing, and reading, and I’m deeply interested in music and cinema.
I’ve been working seasonally as a bartender for the past three years, and I’ve also been teaching languages and music for the past five years.
